Booking a trip is a big decision. Here’s the work we do to make that decision easier.
The Unscheduled hotel list
We keep a curated list of 200+ California hotels where we want to stay, from iconic resorts to surf motels to genuinely family-friendly stays.
Then we do the homework. We collect awards, editorial recommendations, guest recognition and other signals that help explain why a property belongs on the list, so you’re not choosing from pretty pictures alone.
Price check
Before we send you a rate, we compare it with what the major booking sites are charging for the same stay.
We also look at nearby dates and similar hotels, so you have context for whether the price is unusually good and whether now is a good time to go.
Booking invitations
Not another search result. When Unscheduled finds a hotel and rate worth your attention, we send you a private, bookable invitation for a trip you already want to take.
